is it a scam. someone from grant educational resources.com
call me about a grant they took my information and they ask for a deposit of $300.00 for processing fees they say they’ll send information in the mail in 10 days before they debit my account. 10 days came and they debit my account but no information came in the mail. they used a company called ip-ecommerce.com to debit my credit card, now it hard to get through to them have any ever received a call from these guys.
I don’t know but I think investing in education (namely English / writing) might be a wise one for you. It’s “Has anyone…”.
And it definitely sounds like a scam. I would talk to your bank immediately and ask to fill out an affidavit explaining what happened and do a charge dispute and reversal. Scam artists are … well, artists at scamming. Critical thinking is a great tool.
Otherwise, you need to ask for a new debit card (new number) because you’ll be lucky if $300 is all you lose.
